An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Antonio Marcolongo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th minute, Armando Palone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bestagno FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Carlo Caruso hit a great ball. Carlo Caruso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Bestagno FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Bestagno FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alvaro Proia hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ciro Catucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Marulli. Bestagno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Catucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Claudio Canzano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 40 played minutes Borgo Moella FC got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Ramundo. If Antonio Marcolongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Antonio Marcolongo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felice Lucantoni made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Antonio Marcolongo sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Catucci made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Borgo Moella FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Cosi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Marcolongo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felice Lucantoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Di Iorio got free with Anselmo Marulli in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Bestagno FC booed when Borgo Moella FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Palone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Moella FC's zone, Demetrio Di Rocco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Lucantoni came out of the goal and Demetrio Di Rocco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes, Alvaro Proia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bestagno FC and the Borgo Moella FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bestagno FC's Alvaro Proia got a free kick in the 66th minute. Augusto Di Iorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Marulli having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Claudio Canzano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Felice Lucantoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demetrio Di Rocco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Anselmo Marulli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Di Iorio's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Anselmo Marulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Lombardi went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 83rdth minute of the game Antonio Marcolongo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Moella FC's Felice Lucantoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Bestagno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Proia to maneuver through the defense. If Augusto Di Iorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Cesare Taccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Ramundo in the 98th minute of play forced Bestagno FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Marulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borgo Moella FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
