After a defensive mix-up in Vash the Stampede's zone, Leonel Ieltxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Vitale came out of the goal and Leonel Ieltxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunardo Prisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Orioli in the 34th minute of play. Comunardo Prisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cordone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Mingione in the 38th minute of play forced AMR TEAM's goalkeeper Comunardo Prisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar de Queirós scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Comunardo Prisco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute Edgar de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Prisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar de Queirós made a kick off. Alex Cordone succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 57th playminute. Daniele Orioli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Vash the Stampede's Edgar de Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vash the Stampede walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
