Ferruccio Terrasi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carmine Di Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Sanna in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Amos Melone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vandalino's Attilio Sanna in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cimone's goalie prevented a goal. Vandalino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferruccio Terrasi in the 13th minute. Amos Melone hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Clint Barton fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cimone's protests and gave Clint Barton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Clint Barton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vandalino's zone, Damian Valdevielso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Alexa came out of the goal and Damian Valdevielso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cimone's Ennio Gervasi in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vandalino's goalie prevented a goal. Octav Alexa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ennio Gervasi's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When Cimone's Ennio Gervasi in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vandalino's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute Attilio Sanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vandalino's Dario Uguccioni got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Cimone's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Sanna came free, but Carmine Di Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Gervasi in the 45th minute of play. Evaristo Borrego hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Vandalino made a substitution. Alvise Tellini replaced Fulvio Gargano. After 47 played minutes Cimone got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Borrego. Carmine Di Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Uguccioni in the 48th minute of the match. Vandalino's Ferruccio Terrasi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carmine Di Rocco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Cimone's Ennio Gervasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octav Alexa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Valdevielso in the 56th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Ennio Gervasi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vandalino's Octav Alexa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vandalino's Bruno De Marchi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Damian Valdevielso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octav Alexa. Vandalino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Valdevielso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 68 minutes Cimone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferruccio Terrasi who took care of the corner kick. If Ferruccio Terrasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vandalino's Octav Alexa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Valdevielso in the 74th minute of play. Cimone's Carmine Di Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Terrasi in the 75th minute of play. Octav Alexa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Valdevielso in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Vandalino getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Damian Valdevielso scored 3-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octav Alexa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cimone's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
