The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno De Gregorio got free with Alessio Martini in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LA Lord Perez's Ettore Mazzocchetti got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Alessio Martini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermanno De Gregorio. Alessio Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Chiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Evani's late challenge caught a Fi.Lan.Ti Ps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Evani helped the player get up and apologised. If Anthony Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LA Lord Perez's Alessio Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save LA Lord Perez from getting a goal against them. Anthony Chiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alessio Martini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Barone hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, LA Lord Perez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Guidoni to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Martini came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Fi.Lan.Ti Ps's Anthony Chiola. But to his dismay, Anthony Chiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With 61 minutes on the clock, Franco Masetti commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LA Lord Perez! 68 minutes into the game, Anthony Chiola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alessio Martini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LA Lord Perez's Alessio Martini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Chiola in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Anthony Chiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA Lord Perez's Alessio Martini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Enrico Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno De Gregorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Anthony Chiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessio Martini. LA Lord Perez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Chiola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 82nd minute Antonello Marzulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anthony Chiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessio Martini was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Ermanno De Gregorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Alessio Martini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessio Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno De Gregorio in the 92nd minute of play.
