Gavellese's corner Elpidio Macias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carmine Di Rocco quite easily take care of the ball. Ennio Gervasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Alessio Volta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Di Rocco was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Volta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cimone's Carmine Di Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Cimone from getting a goal against them. Alessio Voltas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Carmine Di Rocco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Cimone booed when U.P. Despite this Armando Del Monte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Armando Del Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Gervasi in the 72nd minute of play. Carmine Di Rocco made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alessio Volta sent off a good shot on target. Alessio Voltas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Carmine Di Rocco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Damian Valdevielso took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Del Monte. Armando Del Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Elpidio Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carmine Di Rocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Kaká recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessio Volta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Carmine Di Rocco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th match minute, U.P. Gavellese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Lemme to maneuver through the defense.
