When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuele Colasante made a kick off. After 55 played minutes, Castelnuovo's Anfilogino Stefano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wally Hightower came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castelnuovo reached it. Castelnuovo's Antonio Brandolini was substituted for Anfilogino Desiderio. Aldo Prandini did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Wally Hightower 76 minutes into the match. Castelnuovo's Dennis Passerini got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wally Hightower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Sciamanna in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Daniele Africano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Castelnuovo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leonzio.
