Vandalino made a substitution. Biagio Caniglia replaced Emilio Moriggi. Vandalino's Alvise Tellini was substituted for Fulvio Gargano. The wind increased when Attilio Sanna made the kick off in the second half. In the 66thth minute of the game Attilio Sanna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U.P. Gavellese's Armando Del Monte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vandalino's goalkeeper Octav Alexa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octav Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Dario Uguccioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Kaká could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Octav Alexa however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Vandalino's Octav Alexa got control of the ball when Ricardo Kaká tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Vandalino's goalkeeper Octav Alexa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Kaká. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Attilio Sanna came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Vandalino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Sanna couldn't finish the play. The Vandalino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U.P. Gavellese were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
