After taking down the ball on Eurospeed Asti's corner Fausto Pinti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seth Messenger quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Elia Pietrantoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U.C. Albinoleffe 's Seth Messenger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grant Irø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Messenger having to interfere. Damiano Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Dziatkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Thorin in the 43rd minute of play forced U.C. Albinoleffe 's goalkeeper Seth Messenger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Delgado in the 44th minute of play. Seth Messenger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Pietrantoni's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Eurospeed Asti's King Thorin got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Pietrantoni to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, U.C. Albinoleffe 's 许银川 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Battisti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Dziatkowicz in the 61st minute of play. Seth Messenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albinoleffe booed when Eurospeed Asti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to U.C. Albinoleffe getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Armando Di Silvio hit a great ball. Seth Messenger made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fausto Pinti sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Pietrantoni in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seth Messenger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elia Pietrantoni came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Eurospeed Asti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Pietrantoni couldn't finish the play. Seth Messenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Pietrantoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If 许银川 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Messenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Thorin in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Eurospeed Asti's King Thorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seth Messenger. Seth Messenger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 许银川's late challenge caught a Eurospeed Asti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 许银川 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to U.C. Albinoleffe getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. 许银川 hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, U.C. Albinoleffe 's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Pietrantoni came free, but Seth Messenger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
