Demetrio Corleone was slow to take the kick. During this time Onychogomphus FC's players had a chance to rest. Onychogomphus FC's Demetrio Corleone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damiano Battisti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 15 minutes into the game, Onychogomphus FC's Vadim Tudor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Tudor came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes Eurospeed Asti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demetrio Corleone who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Onychogomphus FC's corner Cosimo Bosco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damiano Battisti quite easily take care of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Onychogomphus FC's goalkeeper Comunardo Pascali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elia Pietrantoni. Elia Pietrantoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Comunardo Pascali made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elia Pietrantoni made a kick off. Achille Patrizi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Patrizi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Onychogomphus FC! Comunardo Pascali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elia Pietrantoni went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ercole Prato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Damiano Battisti made a huge save. Damiano Battisti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercole Prato in the 61st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vadim Tudor couldn't finish the play.
