Emilio Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Real Aquino's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Carosella came free, but Diego Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krister Jonsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Diego Kimetz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Parente was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Real Aquino getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Adriano Simeoni hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Domenico Santarelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonello Onori. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Ettore Stellato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Kimetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krister Jonsson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Real Aquino's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Jonsson came free, but Diego Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Stellato, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
