After 13 minutes, Alessandro Melis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fontebuona's Alfredo Burgnich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Martano really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Alberigo Chelodi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Cristiano Martano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Alfredo Burgnich made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fabrizio Antonangeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 53 minutes, Alessandro Melis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pra Mezzan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Melis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amedeo Muzzatti came out of the goal and Alfonso Santarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Martano took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Burgnich. Alfredo Burgnich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pra Mezzan fully deserved thier win.
