When Luka Toni fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zurlo Team's protests and gave Luka Toni a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Santilli in the 13th minute of play forced Zurlo Team's goalkeeper Antonello Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Bosso came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Rossanese's Ciccio Santilli. But to his dismay, Ciccio Santilli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antonello Bosso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Cornut, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Baladi Gonzalo's late challenge caught a Rossanese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zurlo Team's zone, Didi Cornut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Bosso came out of the goal and Didi Cornut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Didi Cornut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Antonello Bosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zurlo Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 赵挺源 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th match minute, Rossanese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 吴笑斌 to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Zurlo Team's Wasyl Misiorowski tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Mammarella was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Silvestre's late challenge caught a Rossanese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rossanese's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
