Fontebuona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Iezzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elia Iannone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Alessio Iezzi made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Burgnich. Fontebuona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Alessio Iezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 20 played minutes A.c. Lucia got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Iezzi. Alberigo Fiorentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fontebuona's Bruno Manzo got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Alessio Iezzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Burgnich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Fontebuona's zone, Alessio Iezzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Burgnich came out of the goal and Alessio Iezzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Elia Iannone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Campoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Burgnich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Iezzi in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, A.c. Lucia's Federico Florio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Burgnich was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Florio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alfredo Burgnich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 45 minutes on the clock, Bruno Manzo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for A.c. Lucia. Alberigo Fiorentino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Burgnich. 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

52 minutes into the game, Alberigo Chelodi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontebuona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.c. Lucia the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Alberigo Chelodi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game Alberigo Fiorentino kicked a great long shot which passed Alfredo Burgnich straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-6. One couldn't see Alberigo Fiorentino behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Alessio Iezzi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Alfredo Burgnich skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 played minutes Fontebuona got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Pedrelli. 62 minutes into the match, Fontebuona's goalkeeper Alfredo Burgnich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Iezzi. Alessio Iezzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Alfredo Burgnich made a huge save. With his leg Alfredo Burgnich managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when A.c. Lucia's Alessio Iezzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfonso Santarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Campoli having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Corrado Pedrelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alessio Iezzi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the A.c. Lucia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Iezzi couldn't finish the play. Alessio Iezzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Burgnich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessio Iezzi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alessio Iezzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.c. Lucia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessio Iezzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Burgnich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Milani kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Alessio Iezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfredo Burgnich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, A.c. Lucia's Federico Florio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Burgnich. Alfredo Burgnich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Alessio Iezzi in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredo Burgnich, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Fontebuona's Corrado Pedrelli got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Fontebuona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.c. Lucia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
