Alexander Grassi's late challenge caught a Villa United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Grassi helped the player get up and apologised. Alexander Grassi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Christian Loreto struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Davide Giampietro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Settepolesini. Davide Giampietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Alfonsi in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Leggeri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davide Giampietro. Enrico Giacchetti lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villa United FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Davide Giampietro went to the wrong direction when Christian Loreto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

Davide Suriani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Davide Giampietro made a huge save. Davide Giampietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Alfonsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Leggeri in the 57th minute of play forced Villa United FC's goalkeeper Davide Giampietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Giampietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Alfonsi in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Christian Marinetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Marinetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Laudadio came out of the goal and Arrigo Taglieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Laudadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Taglieri in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Frank Vitale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Settepolesini the free kick. A collision led to Villa United FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Frank Vitale hit a great ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Christian Loreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Settepolesini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Loreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
