Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MOZZ's Emilio Mattei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Achille Di Renzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Franco having to interfere. When Edoardo Gelsomini fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montorio FC's protests and gave Edoardo Gelsomini a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Montorio FC got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Gelsomini. Emilio Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Franco having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Augusto Como mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montorio FC and the MOZZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edoardo Gelsomini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anselmo Mangione made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Di Renzo in the 15th minute of play forced Montorio FC's goalkeeper Alberto Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Mattei struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alberto Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MOZZ. Alessandro De Amicis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mangione having to interfere. Frank Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Anselmo Mangione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Vitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Augusto Como hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, MOZZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Roberto to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Vitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mangione having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Florian Giovannelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MOZZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montorio FC the free kick. After 37 played minutes MOZZ got a freekick which was hit by Florian Giovannelli. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of MOZZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montorio FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Anselmo Mangione, was totally fooled by Montorio FC's Ettore Di Massimo, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to MOZZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Anthony Sartori hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Vitelli to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Alessandro De Amicis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MOZZ's Anselmo Mangione. Anselmo Mangione was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Augusto Como hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the MOZZ defense, Adriano Vitelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Mangione. The MOZZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Mangione should have stopped the shot. MOZZ's Anselmo Mangione played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro De Amicis in the 91st minute of play. Emilio Mattei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play, MOZZ's Emilio Mattei made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Mangione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Vitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MOZZ's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Montorio FC had won, even though MOZZ had held more of the ball.
