In the 6th minute Daniele Di Croce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Iovine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Diego Marinelli. 16 minutes into the match, Federico Canzano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atletico Van Goof's Bianco Bonfigli. Bianco Bonfigli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, Atletico Van Goof's goalkeeper Bianco Bonfigli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Pocobello. In the 26th minute, Teddy Team's Concetto Serra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Federico Canzano scored 3-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bianco Bonfigli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Federico Canzano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teddy Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Van Goof the free kick. After 34 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Federico Canzano. Bianco Bonfigli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavio Gargano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 36 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Gargano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bianco Bonfigli. That made the score 5-1 in the 39 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Marcon in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amos Iovine saved Teddy Team from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Ercole Marcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercole Marcon made a kick off. Bianco Bonfigli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Canzano in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Gargano in the 58th minute of play forced Atletico Van Goof's goalkeeper Bianco Bonfigli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ercole Marcon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Amos Iovine made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Felice Centofanti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teddy Team and the Atletico Van Goof players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Felice Centofanti. When Diego Marinelli came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Teddy Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Marinelli couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Flavio Gargano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Bianco Bonfigli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teddy Team's Fedele Alessandrini was substituted for Emanuele Festuccia. Bianco Bonfigli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Pocobello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Diego Marinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Bianco Bonfigli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Federico Canzano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teddy Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. After 93 minutes, Ercole Marcon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Van Goof and the Teddy Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Ercole Marcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teddy Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
