Ernesto Bussi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by MegaraEblea FC's Cosimo Nobili. But to his dismay, Cosimo Nobili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Lupiae Salento's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Di Marco came free, but Ernesto Bussi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Enzo Di Marco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MegaraEblea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Di Marco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Bussi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Luongo in the 14th minute of the match. Diego Forlani's late challenge caught a MegaraEblea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Forlani helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Lupiae Salento got a freekick which was hit by Diego Forlani. Anselmo Antonangeli hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Lupiae Salento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Mandelli to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Anthony Luongo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MegaraEblea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupiae Salento the free kick. After 33 played minutes MegaraEblea FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Luongo. If Eraldo Fortuna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Fortuna in the 37th minute of the match. The Lupiae Salento players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MegaraEblea FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Mandelli was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes MegaraEblea FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Luongo. After a defensive mix-up in Lupiae Salento's zone, Cosimo Nobili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Bussi came out of the goal and Cosimo Nobili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Enzo Di Marco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosimo Nobili struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ernesto Bussi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MegaraEblea FC. Ernesto Bussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Nobili in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Lupiae Salento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Schiacciacasse to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Alvise Schiacciacasse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lupiae Salento's Ernesto Bussi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Nobili in the 91st minute of play. The Lupiae Salento supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MegaraEblea FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MegaraEblea FC.
