Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Antonio Simonetti started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alex De Fina charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex De Fina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex De Fina hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Domenico Rosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Emanuele Raniolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Raniolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Circelli in the 9th minute of play. The Rock fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Rock's Antonio Simonetti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eugenio Circelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Serafini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Raniolo having to interfere. Aurelio Nardi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Domenico Rosi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Alex Aureli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grottaferrata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 46th minute of the match Filippo Ferraresi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Raniolo skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Rosi in the 47th minute of play forced Grottaferrata's goalkeeper Emanuele Raniolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Lupi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Domenico Rosi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rock's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Rosi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Raniolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Menna came free, but Cesare Minotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Raniolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Simonetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Grottaferrata booed when Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Grottaferrata's Aurelio Nardi got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Grottaferrata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eugenio Circelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Frank Menna scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesare Minotti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesare Minotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Aureli, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Aurelio Nardi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Grottaferrata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eugenio Circelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Domenico Rosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 2-2 became the score in the 73rd minute when Antonio Simonetti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Alex Aureli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Cesare Minotti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuele Raniolo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rock's Antonio Simonetti shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Rock booed when Grottaferrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Nardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Simonetti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Raniolo came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Simonetti slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rock eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
