In the 48th minute of the match, Attilio Vieri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alessandro Marsilio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Hernan Gervaso made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stella Nera's goalkeeper Alessandro Marsilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Browns's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Marsilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Gervaso in the 90th minute of play forced Stella Nera's goalkeeper Alessandro Marsilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Marsilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gervaso in the 93rd minute of play. Hernan Gervaso took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Marsilio. Alessandro Marsilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
