Cesare Minotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Viana in the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rock defense, Yuri Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesare Minotti. The Rock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesare Minotti should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Circelli got free with Carmine Sammartano in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesare Minotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Giorgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Viana in the 14th minute of play forced Rock's goalkeeper Cesare Minotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Caramagnetta's Yuri Viana made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Minotti was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Giorgi in the 21st minute of play forced Rock's goalkeeper Cesare Minotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Minotti came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caramagnetta's Enzo Giorgi. But to his dismay, Enzo Giorgi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cesare Minotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Viana in the 25th minute of play. Cesare Minotti came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Caramagnetta's Enzo Giorgi. But to his dismay, Enzo Giorgi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 34 minutes into the game, Yuri Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Cesare Minotti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Caramagnetta's Enzo Giorgi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesare Minotti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Camillo Bracco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cesare Minotti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Giorgi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuri Viana to make the kick off. With a little luck, Rock's Cesare Minotti got control of the ball when Enzo Giorgi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dino Caccavale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesare Minotti. That made the score 0-9 in the 54 minute of play. In the 60th minute Eugenio Circelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Sammartano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Viana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesare Minotti came out and tried to block the shot, but Yuri Viana slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 62nd minute. José Vítor Bezerra had several of the Rock's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Cesare Minotti as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cesare Minotti came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caramagnetta's Yuri Viana. But to his dismay, Yuri Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Giorgi got free with Cesare Minotti in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Caramagnetta's Yuri Viana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Caramagnetta made a substitution. Nano Orihuela replaced Federico Tucci. Dino Caccavale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Minotti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Viana came free, but Cesare Minotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Antonio Simonetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caramagnetta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
