Cristiano Bomba scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Serafini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Martesana Inter's Armando Toninelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Serafini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 10 played minutes Rock got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Di Placido. Dario Serafini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Toninelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Dario Serafini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Toninelli in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Cristiano Bomba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martesana Inter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rock the free kick. After 22 minutes, Filippo De Angelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rock and the Martesana Inter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filippo De Angelis kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Pinti came free, but Dario Serafini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Martesana Inter's Antonio Pinti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Serafini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Rock's Dario Serafini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Toninelli in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rock's Filippo De Angelis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Martesana Inter booed when Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Urbani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Serafini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Pinti, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Antonio Pinti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Serafini. Rock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Pinti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Armando Toninelli scored 0-5 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Serafini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arrigo Simonetti to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Martesana Inter's Dario Serafini threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorge Olmos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dario Serafini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Pinti in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Pinti came free, but Dario Serafini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Mandara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Serafini was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Cristiano Bomba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristiano Bomba really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Ercole Pietrangelo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, one of Rock:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rock. Cristiano Bomba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Serafini having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Antonio Pinti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Serafini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 84th minute, Antonio Pinti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Armando Toninelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Serafini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Toninelli in the 89th minute of play forced Rock's goalkeeper Dario Serafini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Armando Toninelli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Serafini. The goal made the score 0-10. Dario Serafini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Toninelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Spada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Urbani in the 95th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rock defense, Armando Toninelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Serafini. The Rock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Serafini should have stopped the shot. Rock's Dario Serafini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Toninelli in the 101st minute of play. When the match was over Martesana Inter could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rock throughout the match.
