An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Cesare in the 10th minute of play forced Biella F.C's goalkeeper Francesco De Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Biella F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Sammartino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fedele De Michele got free with Francesco De Rossi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cosimo Cesare took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Francesco De Rossi to make any attempt to save it. After 21 minutes of play, FataMorgana's Cosimo Lucidi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francesco De Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosimo Cesare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Francesco De Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when FataMorgana's Ciccio Nazzari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Biella F.C's goalkeeper Francesco De Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedele De Michele. In the 40th minute, Cosimo Cesare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francesco De Rossi. The goal made the score 3-0. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Alberto Ottavi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ciccio Nazzari made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Ottavi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Cosimo Cesare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Fedele De Michele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco De Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Francesco De Rossi came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FataMorgana's Cosimo Cesare. But to his dismay, Cosimo Cesare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermanno Formica during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FataMorgana booed when Biella F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Formica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Alessandro Ciscato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FataMorgana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Ciscato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele De Michele in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco De Rossi saved Biella F.C from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Fedele De Michele left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FataMorgana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 85th match minute, Biella F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Formica to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biella F.C's goalkeeper Francesco De Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Alessandro Ciscato got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Verna came free, but Attilio Proia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes FataMorgana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniele Capone who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Biella F.C's corner Daniele Capone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Attilio Proia quite easily take care of the ball. Francesco De Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Nazzari in the 93rd minute of the match. When Alberto Ottavi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FataMorgana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Ottavi couldn't finish the play. FataMorgana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
