Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Chivasso F.C.'s Ettore Boninsegna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Carlo Corna notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Biella F.C's Francesco De Rossi. Francesco De Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinando Carlucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco De Rossi having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Ferdinando Carlucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco De Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Biella F.C's goalkeeper Francesco De Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Corna. Chivasso F.C.'s Ferdinando Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Verna in the 36th minute of play. Francesco De Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Carlucci in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Biella F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Boninsegna came free, but Francesco De Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Corna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Francesco De Rossi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Bruno Epifani made the kick off in the second half. Francesco De Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Boninsegna in the 52nd minute of play. Ettore Boninsegna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco De Rossi having to make a save. When Ferdinando Carlucci, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Francesco De Rossi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ettore Boninsegna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Biella F.C got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Verna. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Amerigo Castellazzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biella F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Amerigo Castellazzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Sanna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chivasso F.C. were furious when Carlo Corna was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 68th match minute, Chivasso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Corna to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Capone, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chivasso F.C.'s zone, Bruno Epifani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Sanna came out of the goal and Bruno Epifani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Di Giovanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Francesco De Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco De Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Boninsegna, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Chivasso F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Di Giovanni in the 79th minute. The corner ended in Dario Di Giovanni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Biella F.C's Francesco De Rossi did a great save. After a rather tough play, Chivasso F.C.'s Ercole Piola got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dennis Sammartino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Biella F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Di Giovanni came free, but Francesco De Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chivasso F.C.'s Ferdinando Sanna got control of the ball when Bruno Epifani tried to sneak it across the goal line.
