Spectators: 8126 (Terracing: 6096, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) FataMorgana's Ciccio Nazzari started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Attilio Proia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Anselmo Petroni took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Proia. Attilio Proia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alfonso Bolognesi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attilio Proia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Bolognesi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29thth minute of the game Anselmo Petroni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FataMorgana's Attilio Proia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Petroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Valente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Proia was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Tempest Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Santalucia in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Donato Santalucia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Attilio Proia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Bolognesi in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Proia saved FataMorgana from getting behind. After some careless play in the FataMorgana defense, Anselmo Petroni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Proia. The FataMorgana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Proia should have stopped the shot. In the 47th match minute, FataMorgana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Ciscato to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute of the match Tempest Team got a corner. FataMorgana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Santalucia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Donato Santalucia made a great header on Tempest Team's corner, it was just that FataMorgana's Attilio Proia managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Tempest Team were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Petroni made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Petroni. Anselmo Petroni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Attilio Proia made a huge save. Tempest Team were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FataMorgana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donato Santalucia took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FataMorgana's goalie and right to Alfonso Valente. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FataMorgana's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FataMorgana's Attilio Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Valente in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, FataMorgana's Attilio Proia got control of the ball when Klavs Snedgaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tempest Team booed when FataMorgana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Nazzari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attilio Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Bolognesi in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Ciccio Nazzari got a free kick in the 75th minute. Anibal Celino came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FataMorgana's Cosimo Cesare. But to his dismay, Cosimo Cesare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Bolognesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Proia was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Attilio Proia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Tempest Team's Attilio Proia threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfonso Bolognesi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute Alfonso Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attilio Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Valente in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Valente. Cosimo Cesare struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anibal Celino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FataMorgana.
