Dennis Sammartino's late challenge caught a Capodrise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Giordani got free with Francesco De Rossi in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Capodrise booed when Biella F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Verna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Bruno Giordani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francesco De Rossi. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Epifani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Biella F.C's Francesco De Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Giordani in the 57th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Carlo Capaldo made a precise shot to the right of Francesco De Rossi. Biella F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Biella F.C's zone, Bruno Giordani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco De Rossi came out of the goal and Bruno Giordani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Scott Travis came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Capodrise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scott Travis couldn't finish the play. Francesco De Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Giordani in the 75th minute of play. Francesco De Rossi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Capodrise's Carlo Capaldo. But to his dismay, Carlo Capaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 79th minute Bruno Epifani suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Capodrise getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arturo Scotti hit a great ball. The supporters of Biella F.C booed when Capodrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Scotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Biella F.C's Arrigo Verna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantin Ţeica. Constantin Ţeica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. In the 87th minute, Amerigo Castellazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biella F.C's Francesco De Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 蔡霖沙 in the 88th minute of play. Bruno Giordani charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Capodrise's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, 蔡霖沙 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capodrise's supporters crossed their fingers, but 蔡霖沙 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
