An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Vasconcelos in the 26th minute of play forced Grugliasco's goalkeeper Ercole Trombetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Gürcan Okuyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Trombetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Gürcan Okuyan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Trombetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jeremías Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Palone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Titan Derman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Ercole Trombetta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Nedelciu in the 55th minute of play forced Grugliasco's goalkeeper Ercole Trombetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Grugliasco's Mariano Osorio in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jeremías Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Palone in the 66th minute of play. Gürcan Okuyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ercole Trombetta made a huge save. A hard shot 71 in the game by Gürcan Okuyan from a close distance when the talented Ercole Trombetta managed to make a qualified save. Grugliasco's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Soliera's goalkeeper Jeremías Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Trombetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Nedelciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Grugliasco's Alessio Di Cicco was substituted for Mariano Osorio. Soliera were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Grugliasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Esbjörnsson took the corner. The corner led Soliera's Oliver Esbjörnsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Ercole Trombetta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Eneto Bajo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremías Ledesma. Soliera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eneto Bajo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Grugliasco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
