Carmine Bonanni did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cristiano Granata 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Magno Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Granata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Rodrigue Léonard got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cristiano Granata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Di Iulio in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 34th minute of play forced TREVIOLO's goalkeeper Ennio Di Giuseppe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Carmine Bonanni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Granata was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Ennio Di Giuseppe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Léonard in the 40th minute of play. Andrea Di Iulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cristiano Granata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipo Inzaghi made a kick off. Cristiano Granata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Bonanni's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The corner led TREVIOLO's Carmine Bonanni to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristiano Granata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Anthony Muciaccia charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Muciaccia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TREVIOLO's Anthony Muciaccia got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cristiano Granata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicuşor Iniesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. TREVIOLO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carmine Bonanni in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Cristiano Granata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Edoardo Galeone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Di Iulio in the 73rd minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Cristiano Granata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gani Pamirhan got free with Ennio Di Giuseppe in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Višeslav Adamović during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carmine Bonanni scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Granata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TREVIOLO fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.S. Ian Fenomeni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
