Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinando Di Camillo to make the kick off. Beppe Falasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Madruga in the 54th minute of play. When Panait Stolniciu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SOLOTHURN's protests and gave Panait Stolniciu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC SOLOTHURN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Panait Stolniciu hit a great ball. Beppe Falasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Madruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. FC SOLOTHURN were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Coriano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panait Stolniciu took the corner. FC SOLOTHURN's Tuncer Doğu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Doğu saved FC SOLOTHURN from getting behind. Tuncer Doğu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 83rd minute. Halis İskandil hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
