Armin Giacomozzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Cesate's Angelo Vettori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armin Giacomozzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calderino FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angelo Vettori was slow to take the kick. During this time Cesate's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Amedeo Angelini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calderino FC's Armin Giacomozzi did a great save. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calderino FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Armin Giacomozzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 23 minutes Calderino FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Vettori who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cesate's Angelo Vettori to fire away a dangerous shot which Armin Giacomozzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the game's 23rd minute Cesate's Angelo Vettori took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Armin Giacomozzi and thus the score was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Ascencio in the 26th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Cesate's Angelo Vettori made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Giacomozzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Nardone hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Armin Giacomozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Nienajadlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Giacomozzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The Calderino FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cesate were winning 0-4.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Giacomozzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Cesate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calderino FC throughout the match.
