Damaso Toli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Musso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Ascencio in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Musso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Sabin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Musso saved Coriano FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Sabin came free, but Cristoforo Musso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes in the game Lóránd Sárkány did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Damaso Toli. In the 25th minute, Marcin Kilarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Giacomozzi came out of the goal and Ferdinando Di Camillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armin Giacomozzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Di Camillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ferdinando Di Camillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armin Giacomozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ferdinando Di Camillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coriano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Di Camillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin Giacomozzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Fabiano Caneva could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Armin Giacomozzi however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Coriano FC's Ciro Melone got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alvaro Di Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Di Giandomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Musso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Di Camillo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ferdinando Di Camillo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armin Giacomozzi.
