In the 19th minute 尤岚益 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Lucantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Sox's Flavio Riva got a free kick in the 21st minute. Aurelio Ceresoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Boldrini in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red Sox defense, Ferdinando De Simone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Lucantoni. The Red Sox fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Lucantoni should have stopped the shot. 尤岚益 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Boldrini got free with Aurelio Ceresoli in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonello Zulli hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Francesco Festuccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Ceresoli having to interfere. When Claudio Pan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Red Sox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Pan couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Aurelio Ceresoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Boldrini in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alex Cirigliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Ceresoli was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 60thth minute of the game Ferdinando De Simone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Sox's Alfredo Lucantoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Lucantoni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinando De Simone struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alfredo Lucantoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navacchio. Red Sox's Concetto Pezzi was substituted for Claudio Pan. In the 80th minute, Alex Cirigliano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Sox fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Beppe Franzioni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navacchio's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Franzioni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Lucantoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Claudio Restaino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Ceresoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 91 minutes on the clock, Fedele Hell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Red Sox:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Navacchio:s goal. Red Sox:s Alfredo Lucantoni showed great skill when he stopped Diego Signori:s penalty. 95 minutes into the match, Red Sox's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando De Simone came free, but Alfredo Lucantoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Boldrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Navacchio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
