Alberigo Sacchi ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zdzislaw Pieprz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Domenico Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Scibilia in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Scibilia in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, NewDip F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kuido Suursaar came free, but Domenico Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Claus Himschoot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Sacchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Lauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kuido Suursaar in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domenico Lauro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of NewDip F.C. booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Haavel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Scibilia might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domenico Lauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tripodi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 91st minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
