After a defensive mix-up in f.c. sKRotone's zone, Dinei Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Tatangelo came out of the goal and Dinei Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Fabrizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alessio Bottaro hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Vennard Sundoro could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Daniele Bucciarelli however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Iustinian Herescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Cesare Di Vincenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to f.c. sKRotone getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ercole Gagliano hit a great ball. Daniele Bucciarelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosimo Fabrizi went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Daniele Bucciarelli made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Taavetti Noponen sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. Ciccio Tatangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 34th minute of play. Daniele Bucciarelli made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Vennard Sundoro sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taavetti Noponen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniele Bucciarelli saved Merceron United from getting behind. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavetti Noponen in the 43rd minute of play. Ciccio Tatangelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Pascucci in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ştefan Mârzac kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Fernandez in the 62nd minute of play forced f.c. sKRotone's goalkeeper Ciccio Tatangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciccio Tatangelo having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Fernandez got free with Ciccio Tatangelo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Herescu in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Cosimo Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vennard Sundoro in the 72nd minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Di Vincenzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniele Bucciarelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the f.c. sKRotone players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
