Carter Paganelli's late challenge caught a Maci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carter Paganelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Carter Paganelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes ASLaNegrelli got a freekick which was hit by Carter Paganelli. Bruno Aversano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Armin Di Vito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 played minutes, ASLaNegrelli's Juan Pablo Sorin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricky Le Roy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ASLaNegrelli reached it. In the 31st minute of the match, József Varga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armin Di Vito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dennis Bucciarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ricky Le Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Maci FC's Bruno Aversano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armin Di Vito. In the 48th minute, Carmine Toccaceli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricky Le Roy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Bucciarelli was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Bosco got free with Ricky Le Roy in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Gismondi in the 64th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Ricky Le Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bucciarelli in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Le Roy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Damiano Bosco managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASLaNegrelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Bosco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Le Roy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ASLaNegrelli made a substitution. Cristiano Pallini replaced Arturo Gismondi. Damiano Bosco came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricky Le Roy could save by the left post. ASLaNegrelli's Armin Di Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Aversano in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Maci FC booed when ASLaNegrelli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno-Francisco Conti didn't get a good kick on the ball.
