Maci FC's Ricky Le Roy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Maci FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertrán Olguín got free with Ricky Le Roy in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Arrigo Carozza fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maci FC's protests and gave Arrigo Carozza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maci FC's Arrigo Carozza got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ricky Le Roy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dennis Carrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bence Asbóth in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Di Clemente in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Le Roy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricky Le Roy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Di Clemente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Le Roy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertrán Olguín in the 72nd minute of play. Vaffancalcio's Dennis Carrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Vida in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Di Clemente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricky Le Roy was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Federico Vida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dennis Carrea. That made the score 3-1 in the 78 minute of play. Maci FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
