When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Attilio Pani took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daniele Bucciarelli to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute Edoardo Pascucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in forsal FC's zone, Edoardo Pascucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Tasso came out of the goal and Edoardo Pascucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinei Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Emiliano Lucchetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Pani in the 82nd minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
