Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adriano Alfieri came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez. But to his dismay, Dinei Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adriano Alfieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci in the 11th minute of play. Nunez Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Daniele Bucciarelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Feliz came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes Merceron United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ermanno Marrone who took care of the corner kick. Daniele Bucciarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anoush Rott in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Lusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Edoardo Pascucci notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CA Boca Jrs's Adriano Alfieri. Adriano Alfieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Adriano Alfieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Fernandez. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Toschi in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Feliz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Fernandez came free, but Adriano Alfieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Anoush Rott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniele Bucciarelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Toschi in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Anoush Rott tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Davide Flumian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniele Bucciarelli was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ermanno Marrone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ermanno Marrone really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Toschi in the 82nd minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. Adriano Alfieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 93rd minute of the match. Merceron United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
