San Giorgio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Malvezzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LATIUM's Attilio De Tommasi was substituted for Cristoforo Caiola. Pol. San Giorgio's Antonello Albertosi was substituted for Enrico Simeoni. San Giorgio eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
