The audience thought a goal was coming when Er Didia got free with Anartz Naranjo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ASD USAC's Silas Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Atletico San Jacopino's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Pires came free, but Aurelio Di Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Marzo in the 20th minute of play forced ASD USAC's goalkeeper Anartz Naranjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Er Didia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Anartz Naranjo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico San Jacopino's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Pires came free, but Aurelio Di Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Dedé Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedé Pires took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Luca. Aurelio Di Luca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedé Pires to make the kick off. Anartz Naranjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Er Didia in the 63rd minute of play. Atletico San Jacopino made a substitution. Arsene Valkenaers replaced Leon Veto. After a rather tough play, Atletico San Jacopino's Sergio Sandalio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Aurelio Di Luca made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alexander De Lellis sent off a good shot on target. Atletico San Jacopino's Aurelio Di Luca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico San Jacopino from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Sergio Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anartz Naranjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
