In the 15thth minute of the game Taniel Valter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALBEMA F.C.'s Biagio Minati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes ALBEMA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Bottaro. In the 24th minute Iñigo Pedrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Minati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALBEMA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Göksun Uçanay was slow to take the kick. During this time USD Marosticense's players had a chance to rest. USD Marosticense's Göksun Uçanay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Biagio Minati in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Hersig in the 29th minute of play forced USD Marosticense's goalkeeper Sten Virk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Virk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Sartori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match ALBEMA F.C. got a corner. USD Marosticense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Hersig ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fulvio Serafini tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sten Virk. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to USD Marosticense getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eraldo Gerola hit a great ball. Biagio Minati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iñigo Pedrosa's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, ALBEMA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Bottaro to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Minati had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Iñigo Pedrosa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. USD Marosticense were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after ALBEMA F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Göksun Uçanay took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ALBEMA F.C.'s goalie and right to Ennio Cassone. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ALBEMA F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Taniel Valter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Biagio Minati made a huge save. Sten Virk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Félix in the 73rd minute of the match. Biagio Minati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taniel Valter in the 80th minute. A collision led to USD Marosticense getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fulvio Serafini hit a great ball. In the 89th minute USD Marosticense were awarded a corner. Göksun Uçanay went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91 minutes, Beppe Muzzolon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALBEMA F.C. and the USD Marosticense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Beppe Muzzolon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALBEMA F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
