The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Alessandria AFC's Fabio Cannavaro got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 6 minutes, Hans Hersig made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Giovanni Lovera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Alessandria AFC from getting a goal against them. Biagio Minati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Lovera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes ALBEMA F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanni Lovera who took care of the corner kick. Fabio Cannavaro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Hans Hersig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ziemowit Sebzda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. ALBEMA F.C.'s Biagio Minati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Piccone in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Lovera in the 27th minute of play forced ALBEMA F.C.'s goalkeeper Biagio Minati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Sebzda was a little too slow when Federico Sartori got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Federico Sartori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Alessandria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Félix came free, but Ziemowit Sebzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Sartori in the 39th minute of play. Ziemowit Sebzda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Sartori went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Piccone in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Minati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Lovera was the one to do the kick off. Arturo Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, ALBEMA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Lovera came free, but Biagio Minati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Hersig hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Di Persio in the 64th minute of play forced ALBEMA F.C.'s goalkeeper Biagio Minati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Hersig took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Sebzda. Ziemowit Sebzda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Hersig in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Hans Hersig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ziemowit Sebzda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the game, Federico Sartori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ennio Piccone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Biagio Minati made a huge save. The corner ended in Luciano Cerilo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALBEMA F.C.'s Biagio Minati did a great save. After 88 played minutes Alessandria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Piccone. With an all-out effort, Alessandria AFC's Biagio Minati threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camillo Laudadio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 90 minutes of play, Alessandria AFC's Camillo Laudadio made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Minati was left in no man's land by his defense there! ALBEMA F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
