Armando Ceresoli started the match with the kick off. Sten Virk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 12th minute of play. Iñigo Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pardini having to interfere. Iñigo Pedrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alvaro Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, USD Marosticense's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Pallini came free, but Sten Virk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Virk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Pallini, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Iñigo Pedrosa came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taniel Valter in the 30th minute of play. Sten Virk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Ceresoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Pardini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iñigo Pedrosa went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Göksun Uçanay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alvaro Pardini firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 44th match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Scarcella to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iñigo Pedrosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sten Virk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Scoca in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in USD Marosticense's zone, Biagio Scoca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Virk came out of the goal and Biagio Scoca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo got a free kick in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Iñigo Pedrosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Pardini. Foot Ball Club di Roma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iñigo Pedrosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sten Virk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Scoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foot Ball Club di Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bryan Cristante in the 71st minute. USD Marosticense's Sten Virk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 73rd minute of play. Biagio Scoca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Virk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksun Uçanay in the 78th minute of play. Sten Virk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Scoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Fulvio Serafini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USD Marosticense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foot Ball Club di Roma the free kick. 82 minutes into the game, Biagio Scoca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sten Virk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 88th minute of play forced USD Marosticense's goalkeeper Sten Virk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foot Ball Club di Roma were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after USD Marosticense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bryan Cristante took the corner. After taking down the ball on Foot Ball Club di Roma's corner Biagio Scoca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sten Virk quite easily take care of the ball. Taniel Valter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alvaro Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
