The corner led BRAL VAL's Stefano Ascani to fire away a dangerous shot which Christophe Rau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benedykt Karwowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bonanni having to interfere. Christophe Rau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Nalaskowski in the 32nd minute of play. Angelo Bonanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mark in the 33rd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, BRAL VAL's goalkeeper Angelo Bonanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Buğrahan Vecih. After 44 played minutes BRAL VAL got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Pennetta. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, BRAL VAL's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Mark came free, but Angelo Bonanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Bonanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buğrahan Vecih in the 67th minute of play. But to his dismay, Jeremias Mark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. BRAL VAL made a substitution. Ferruccio Gervasi replaced Eugenio Riccardi. The Talenti Roma Calcio fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Talenti Roma Calcio's Fabiano Palmucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. BRAL VAL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
