With a little luck, Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli got control of the ball when Piotr Nalaskowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Piretti took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Mancinelli. Alessandro Mancinelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gustavo Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gabbro FC defense, Piotr Nalaskowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Mancinelli. The Gabbro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Mancinelli should have stopped the shot. BRAL VAL's Stefano Ascani got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Frank Piretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gabbro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the BRAL VAL defense, Edvard Slæggerup kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Bonanni. The BRAL VAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Bonanni should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, BRAL VAL's Alessandro Mancinelli threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefano Ascani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gabbro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stefano Ascani was slow to take the kick. During this time BRAL VAL's players had a chance to rest. Frank Piretti made a great header on BRAL VAL's corner, it was just that Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Ascani in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Langsford in the 65th minute of play forced BRAL VAL's goalkeeper Angelo Bonanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gabbro FC's Lasse Eskeland got a free kick in the 66th minute. Frank Piretti scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Mancinelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefano Ascani in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Mancinelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Stefano Ascani, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gabbro FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after BRAL VAL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fedele Di Prinzio took the corner. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Nalaskowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Stefano Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Eugenio Riccardi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 91st minute Stefano Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Stefano Ascani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Mancinelli was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
