After a defensive mix-up in Chiascio Giants's zone, Taniel Valter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Negrini came out of the goal and Taniel Valter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Iñigo Pedrosa made a precise shot to the right of Attilio Negrini. Chiascio Giants's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Taniel Valter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, USD Marosticense's Iñigo Pedrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Negrini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match, Alex Cesarini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sten Virk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Taniel Valter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Negrini having to interfere. Attilio Negrini didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when USD Marosticense's Iñigo Pedrosa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Attilio Negrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taniel Valter in the 23rd minute of play. The USD Marosticense fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when USD Marosticense's Taniel Valter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Taniel Valter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göksun Uçanay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Negrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksun Uçanay in the 41st minute of play. Chiascio Giants's Attilio Negrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksun Uçanay in the 42nd minute of play. USD Marosticense's Göksun Uçanay got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iñigo Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half USD Marosticense were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iñigo Pedrosa was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chiascio Giants booed when USD Marosticense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Cassone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chiascio Giants's Eraldo Di Tommaso got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Göksun Uçanay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Negrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göksun Uçanay in the 58th minute of play forced Chiascio Giants's goalkeeper Attilio Negrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Negrini stood somewhat misplaced when Göksun Uçanay came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 58 minute. 61 minutes into the match, Chiascio Giants's goal looked a bit too open when Iñigo Pedrosa came free, but Attilio Negrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Chiascio Giants got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Palermo. Iñigo Pedrosa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Attilio Negrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USD Marosticense. Iñigo Pedrosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Attilio Negrini having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as USD Marosticense's Göksun Uçanay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Attilio Negrini. That made the score 0-7 after 71 minutes of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Göksun Uçanay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USD Marosticense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göksun Uçanay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, USD Marosticense's Taniel Valter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attilio Negrini. Attilio Negrini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Göksun Uçanay took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Attilio Negrini to make any attempt to save it. After 90 played minutes USD Marosticense got a freekick which was hit by Göksun Uçanay. Chiascio Giants's Attilio Negrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iñigo Pedrosa in the 94th minute of play. Taniel Valter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Attilio Negrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USD Marosticense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
