But to his dismay, Iñigo Pedrosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Ernesto Piacentini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elia Lepre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iñigo Pedrosa's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Iñigo Pedrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Elia Lepre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Ernesto Piacentini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iñigo Pedrosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elia Lepre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iñigo Pedrosa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute Francesco Primavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Lepre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iñigo Pedrosa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, S.C. Monte Marino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Škarpa in the 45th minute. The corner ended in Lucjan Škarpa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USD Marosticense's Sten Virk did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iñigo Pedrosa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elia Lepre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The S.C. Monte Marino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USD Marosticense were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Škarpa in the 51st minute of play forced USD Marosticense's goalkeeper Sten Virk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Virk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Primavera in the 52nd minute of play. Maximiliano Matro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When S.C. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taniel Valter got free with Elia Lepre in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 70 in the game by Taniel Valter from a close distance when the talented Elia Lepre managed to make a qualified save. S.C. Monte Marino's players were relieved. In the 75th minute S.C. Monte Marino were awarded a corner. Lucjan Škarpa went to the cornerflag to take it. S.C. Monte Marino's Lucjan Škarpa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sten Virk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elia Lepre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Elia Lepre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taniel Valter went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over USD Marosticense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C. Monte Marino throughout the match.
