Beppe Natalucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Valcareggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Genta in the 24th minute of play forced AZ Sidion Gravina's goalkeeper Beppe Natalucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AZ Sidion Gravina's Beppe Natalucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Clementi in the 27th minute of play. Alex Pierucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Dubardo in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Federico Valcareggi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Beppe Natalucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Leon Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sambughe's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Oso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Natalucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Leon Oso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Natalucci was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Beppe Natalucci came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sambughe's Felice Di Mario. But to his dismay, Felice Di Mario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Dubardo to make the kick off. Sambughe's Alex Pierucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Bergkvist in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes AZ Sidion Gravina got a freekick which was hit by Azem Mønster. With an all-out effort, Sambughe's Beppe Natalucci threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leon Oso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, AZ Sidion Gravina's goalkeeper Beppe Natalucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Clementi. In the 69th minute Leon Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Natalucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AZ Sidion Gravina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Karl Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alex Pierucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AZ Sidion Gravina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sambughe's performance. The match ended with a win for Sambughe.
