With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Sorge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes, Filippo Pinti made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. TRANSILVANIA's Bruno Sorge tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Sorge was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Andrea Pinti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrea Pinti really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 18th minute, Felip Jaen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRANSILVANIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Bruno Sorge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, TRANSILVANIA's Fulvio Di Cesare ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Cimino. Dennis Cimino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 55th minute Filippo Pinti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Sorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Sorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Emilio Sciarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Sorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TRANSILVANIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castagneto Po AFC the free kick. TRANSILVANIA's 谢文强 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 91st match minute, Castagneto Po AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Venditti to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Sorge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Pinti's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The TRANSILVANIA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TRANSILVANIA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
