Antonello Ranieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Ciolli in the 12th minute of play. Fred Guihard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello Ranieri having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Guihard in the 14th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Geirhvatur Ómarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balla 1926 fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Guihard in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonello Ranieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Balla 1926 fc's Fred Guihard in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Iezzi in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mihăiţă Opriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radoslaw Debowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonello Ranieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radoslaw Debowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Balla 1926 fc from getting a goal against them. Claudio Patricelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Stintino FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balla 1926 fc were winning 1-2.

If Geirhvatur Ómarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Armando Di Massimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, one of Stintino FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stintino FC. After 63 played minutes Balla 1926 fc got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Ciolli. A collision led to Balla 1926 fc getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anthony Serantoni hit a great ball. Antonello Ranieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Guihard in the 68th minute of the match. Antonello Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Guihard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th play minute Fred Guihard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Antonello Ranieri. 1-3. Fred Guihard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Antonello Ranieri made a huge save.
