With an all-out effort, Casette's Alfredo Mariotti threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Di Falco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes in the game Achille Toccaceli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ercole Scandella. Alberto Marchegiani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dietbald Munderloh went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Dietbald Munderloh scored 1-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Marchegiani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Mariotti was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Augusto Di Falco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augusto Di Falco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When Real Piazza 1982's Dietbald Munderloh in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Larsfält in the 45th minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Alberto Marchegiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Marchegiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietbald Munderloh, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when 孔松翀 made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Brunelli during the 52nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Alberto Marchegiani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dietbald Munderloh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Marchegiani came out and tried to block the shot, but Dietbald Munderloh slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 69th minute. Dietbald Munderloh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute of the match Achille Toccaceli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Mariotti skillfully saved the ball. After 78 minutes Real Piazza 1982's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Achille Toccaceli who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ercole Scandella almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Piazza 1982's Alfredo Mariotti did a great save. In the 80th minute Casette were awarded a corner. Achille Toccaceli went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Achille Toccaceli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Mariotti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80thth minute of the game Ercole Scandella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Piazza 1982's Alfredo Mariotti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If 孔松翀 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Alberto Marchegiani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfredo Mariotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Coscia in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Augusto Di Falco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Mariotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Piazza 1982 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
